gmail api - All of sub labels repositioned to upper label after change above label name shortly

Question

I've used many different levels of labels. At one upper label below, there are quite many different sub-labels. The upper label name was quite long text. One day, changed that long text of upper label name to shorter. And after that, I realized all of the sub-labels names changed to "previous old upper label + sub-label name" and also all of them repositioned to the upper level.

How to fix it?
