interpretation - NVDA misinterpret reading a year

Question

I have come across a scenario where the NVDA reader reads out the year as individual numbers instead of saying the year.

For instance, NVDA will read the following sentence - Our 2020 campaign was well achieved - as "Our two zero two zero campaign was well achieved."

If the sentence is - ABC's 2020 campaign was well achieved - NVDA will interpret it as "ABC's twenty twenty campaign was well achieved."

Does anyone as insight on why this occurs why placing only the word "Our" (and there may be other words) in front of a year will read out the numbers individually? Is there a solution besides writing the sentence differently?
