Installation

ioquake3 for macOs can be installed with only one instruction.

Please choose your processor version:

Apple Silicon M1

Intel 32/64

Remove

rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Quake3 /Applications/ioquake3

How to extend

Step 1: Open the application folder

open ~/Library/Application\ Support/Quake3

As alternative you can add an alias to your .bashrc or .zshrc file:

alias q3folder="open ~/Library/Application\ Support/Quake3"

And use it like:

q3folder

Step 2: Copy your files

Just drag and drop your mods, maps and models inside.
