python - How to copy object between buckets across regions from inside a pod

Question

I need to copy an object between 2 across region buckets. I'm running the command from inside a pod (From one of the regions) Tried using aws-cli, and both in python using boto3.

I get an error:

copy failed: s3://some_bucket/some_json.json to s3://dst_bucket/dst_folder An 
error occurred (AccessDenied) when calling the CopyObject operation: VPC 
endpoints do not support cross-region requests```
