Actually you can do it with any device that can record video:
- Create and configure a
AVCaptureVideoDataOutput.
- Add it to your
AVCaptureSession.
- Add a
AVCaptureVideoDataOutputSampleBufferDelegate.
- Implement
captureOutput:didOutputSampleBuffer:fromConnection: in the delegate and get the image with imageFromSampleBuffer:.
