url - DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN only On OPTIMUM DNS

Question

I run a small e-commerce site hosted shopify. Several of my customers who use Optimum for internet service have complained about our website appearing offline. We use optimum at the store and have re-created the same problem using google Chrome on a Mac.

• When we use the "Automatic Name Servers" setting and try to access our website we get a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error.

• We have fixed this problem on our personal computers by switching our DNS to the Google name servers and the website loads just fine. However this is not an adequate fix for our customers.

• Our URL is hosted through GoDaddy.

I'm only beginning to learn front end development and this problem is well beyond my abilities so any help/direction or questions would be welcome.
