You should pass an instance of type Context or Activity as first parameter to your Intent, so your this should refer to your parent Activity.

To do that change your declaration of the adapter to

class RecyclerAdapter(
    private val activity: Activity,
    private var titles: List<String>
) : RecyclerView.Adapter<RecyclerAdapter.ViewHolder>() {

and then pass the activity parameter to the Intent:

val intentAct: Intent = Intent(activity, authorization::class.java)
activity.startActivity(intentAct)
