The idea is to setup the following development environment.
Project files are located only inside the Docker container without mirroring anything to host Windows machine so I don't have to worry about not working symlinks or case-insensitivity of Windows environment etc.
On the other hand PhpStorm is installed on Windows machine and is setup to directly access project folder from within a Docker container allowing me to perform all the necessary manipulations and manage GIT repository using PhpStorm's built-in tools.
And as a bonus no resources are spent to mirror the project folder between both guest and host file systems.
So the question is if this specific setup is possible? And if it is how? I absolutely want to avoid running PhpStorm from inside Docker GUI if it's possible.
