I'm a web designer, so it's not like I don't understand responsive design. My websites are adjusted with media queries for all common screen resolutions.
But I've noticed from client screenshots that my website will look completely different from a gaming 1920x1080 desktop monitor, to a DELL XPS 13" laptop at 1920x1080, or a macbook pro at 1920x1080.
All three examples are 1080p HD resolution so I could write a media query to, let's say: Do this under 1920px, but it won't apply to 2/3 of monitors or devices. Why does this happen if all three specs say they are the same resolution and the client assures me they are viewing at full screen with no browser zoom?
