ipad - setup dual monitor in ubuntu 20.04

Question

i'm trying to extend my monitor on my ipad pro 10.5, i have ubuntu 20.04. I've tried with virtscreen on laptop and VNC viewer on the ipad but didn't work. I think to buy duet to do what i want but i'm afraid that duet isn't compatible with linux.
