When there is a 1:1 relation then it appears to be like an inner join.
When there is 1:M relation then it appears to be like an inner join.
- When there is M:M relation then what the the type of join?
I am reading that power bi join happens like a left outer join irrespective of either it is 1:1 or 1:M or M:M
Is this true and can it be changed to inner join?
- Does this mean that in case of M:M we will have duplicate rows for example if there is 1 row in left table and 10 rows in right table then there will be total 10 rows output. And similarly when there are 10 rows in left tvale and 1 row in right table then there will be 10 rows output. And if there are 5 rows in left table and 5 rows in right table there will be 25 rows output?
