Get HTML of selected text in EditText android

Question

I want to split the HTML of the EditText at the cursor position , I can get the selectionStart and selectionEnd of EditText and use it to split text but when it comes to HTML the position of the cursor becomes useless.
I want to get HTML of only selected text in EditText and then set it to a new EditText , How can I do this ?
