I want to set up a DSN for Jira but wasnt sure how to done it correctly. My company is using Okta as SSO Provider so when I tried to set up a connection for the CData JIRA Sys, I used OKTA as my auth scheme, and need to fill the SSO session with all OKTA info. I will need to fill all of the below field:
SSOProvider: Set this property to "OKTA", which I did
SSOUser: The OKTA user account, which I did
SSOPassword: The password associated with the OKTA account, which I did
SSOLoginUrl: The login URL associated with the OKTA account. Example: orgName.okta.com. I did this one as well
SSOProperties: --here come the tricky part--
OktaApiToken: The API Token generated on your OKTA instance.
OktaAppEmbedLink: The Link of the embedded app in your OKTA instance.
ACSUrl: You can find the Assertion Consumer Service URL by navigating to your OKTA application -> Applications -> Your Application -> General -> under SAML Settings find Single Sign On URL.
I dont know where I can go to generate API Token for my OKTA instance.
I also dont know where to find the link of the embedded app in my OKTA instance.
and the ACSUrl (despite the clear instruction)
Does Anyone go through this process before? Any advice/instruction is much appreciated!
