windows - How to push data from OBDII port to C# WFA

Question

I've been thinking about making my own app to monitor the health and performance of my car all the time while driving.

Found out concern cars (VW, SKODA, AUDI, SEAT) has an OBD2 port. Already bought a cable that can be plugged into the OBD2 port and to the PC via USB.

My question is if there is any kind of API, library, or some sort of documentation for building such an app. I would like to get values of Speed, Fuel consumption, RPM, inside-outside temperature, oil temperature, and so on.

Has anyone here ever built such a thing? I would like to build this app in C# so I could push my data to a WinForm app.
