Why does the images in Django are not rendering?

Question

I'm trying to build a Stripe checkout, but the images on the preview are not rendering correctly. The images aren't appearing.

settings.py:

MEDIA_ROOT = os.path.join(BASE_DIR, 'static') 
MEDIA_URL = '/images/'

urls.py:

   urlpatterns += staticfiles_urlpatterns()
    urlpatterns += static(settings.MEDIA_URL, document_root=settings.MEDIA_ROOT)
