javascript - Get Latitude and Longitude from a Google Place ID

Question

I have a database of thousands of client Google Place IDs, and I've been tasked with getting the latitudes and longitudes for them all. Googling I can find plenty of results for getting the Place ID from lat/lng, but nothing for visa versa.

I've found that this URL: https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=[Address]&query_place_id=[PlaceID] when ran in a browser will resolve into a URL containing the lat/lng. I've contemplated scraping the lat/lng from the URL using regex, but thats such ha dirty way and is not ideal.

The source where the map place picker is is out of my reach as its developed for us by a third party, I do however have control over the C# API layer which receives the data before we save it in our Database. So would like to run the lookup at that point for new IDs.
