I have an app that uses firebase locally to store location data. It also synchronises it with an online Cloud Firestore. On the client side, there is one document for each location, but on the server side there is one document by tracking device, which is updated for every location sent from the client.
My question is : if the device tracks offline and gather many locations, when it synchronises with the server, will it update the online document for every location, or will it only updates with the last location gathered on the device ?
I'm asking this because I have a Google Cloud Function that is triggered by a document.write
on the Cloud Firestore. I want this function to be triggered for each and every location, not only for the last one.
