I just tried to use Homebrew and Linuxbrew to install packages on my Ubuntu Server but both failed. This is how I tried to install them:
sudo apt-get install build-essential curl git m4 ruby texinfo libbz2-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev libexpat-dev libncurses-dev zlib1g-dev
ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/linuxbrew/go/install)"
I got the following warning:
Warning: /home/tong/.linuxbrew/bin is not in your PATH.
I vi my bash.bashrc in home/etc and add this:
export PATH="$HOME/.linuxbrew/bin:$PATH"
export MANPATH="$HOME/.linuxbrew/share/man:$MANPATH"
export INFOPATH="$HOME/.linuxbrew/share/info:$INFOPATH"
Then I tried brew doctor
but got No command 'brew' found
. How am I able to use Homebrew on Ubuntu?
