I have 2 dedicated applications with 2 different databases each application has a User table, each user has the same email at both databases but different password & access token. I will create a new dashboard that will have access to both applications, and each user can navigate and make requests at both applications.
but we have a problem here with authentication because of the difference between access tokens and passwords, So I think about a way to unify access token, I mean once the user logged in to one of the applications he can do any requests at the other application with the same access token.
Some told me that Amazon Cognito can solve this problem for me, but I'm not sure because as I understood, I need to register all users from my database to AWS Cognito and this is not available, so do u know how to do this with AWS Cognito, or do u have another better solution?
Note: I don't want to merge all of my users inside Cognito to be able to let them log in, I need a solution that just depends on secret keys and it would be environment variables.
