I want to send and receive data (bits/numbers/text or whatever) on pc and phone terminals via USB cable.
On phone (Android) I use "Serial USB Terminal" app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.kai_morich.serial_usb_terminal&hl=en_US&gl=US
On pc (Windows) I use "Tera Term".
"Tera term" connects to my phone, however, I cannot send anything as any input shouts "ERROR". (literally just the word "ERROR")
On the phone app, my pc doesn't even show up in a device list, therefore I cannot connect and send anything to it.
I know that such a weird connection can be made, as I achieved it like a year ago. Except I used "Windows Command Prompt" instead of "Tera Term". I tried to send something using "Windows Command Prompt", but the phone doesn't show it. The phone I used last time is the same as today.
What could I be doing wrong this time? could it be phone specific?
