java - How to wait for nonblocking method to finish inside asynctask

Question

I have an async task where in the background method, I call a non blocking method that has a callback to trigger upon completion. Once that completes I need to continue with the work of async task

What should I do to wait for that non blocking to finish?

Here is the code I have in mind

@Override protected TaskResult doInBackground(Void... voids) {

 String vidLink;
 
 libraryX.uploadVideo(videoPath, new onCallback(){
           @Override
           public void onSuccess(String link) {
                vidLink = link;
           }
           @Override
           public void onError(String requestId) {

           }
    });
    //how can I hold till above is compelted
 populateLinkToDb(vidLink);

}

obviously if I execute this code, then vidLink will be populatedto db before it is retrieved from the call back. How can I halt the execution till the videoUpload is done.
