user interface - visualy linkable components in angular

Question

I'd like to implement visualy linkable components in angular. the components will be "boxes" displayed on the website. does someone have an idea on how i can allow the user to attach a box to another one ? I'm not asking for code, but for references or advices to do it properly. thanks.
