I have an Next.js API endpoint I'm calling to insert a document into a Mongo collection.
The insertion works fine, but when I hit the api, it returns a 500 error even though it's inserted successfully. My question is; has any else encountered this using Next.js and MongoDB and whats the best way to debug it? Assuming it could be on the Next.js side or Mongo's?
My code looks like;
import { connectToDatabase } from "../../util/mongodb";
export default async () => {
try {
const { db } = await connectToDatabase();
const answers = await db
.collection("answers")
const doc = { name: "Test", town: "Test" };
const result = await answers.insertOne(doc);
console.log(
);
} finally {
await db.close();
}
};
