Get RAM size of a AMD graphic card

Question

I wonder why my AMD graphic card is reporting 4GB of RAM when listing lspci:

$ lspci -v |grep Sapphire
Subsystem: Sapphire Technology Limited Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 4GB

And is reporting 8GB on the dmesg:

$ dmesg | grep drm | grep -i VRAM
5.604353 [drm] amdgpu: 8192M of VRAM memory ready

Please, somebody knows why this happens? And what is the proper way to get the RAM of my graphic card?
