javascript - String argument expected in slugify? throws error

Question

exports.addCategory = (req,res) => {
    
     const categoryObj = {
        name: req.body.name, 
        slug: slugify(req.body.name)
    };

while requesting body name it is showing error: as string argument expected. Thanks in advance
