reactjs - Difference between use import and CDN links

Question

Usually I use import React from 'react'. But in https://reactjs.org/docs/cdn-links.html, we have an others way to import react, using cdn links and put the script into index.js. I know that both ways work correctly, but i want to know the difference between them, and which is better.
