android - Infinity looping spinner with viewmodel

Question

I have a spinner, the data of that spinner is obtained from the endpoint x, and when that spinner is selected it gets data from the endpoint x. so it will cause infinite looping because I save the data in the viewmodel with live data. If you have solution for my problem please help me. thank you
