Visual Studio 2017 missing c# in projects

Question

I was using recently Visual Studio 2017 with Unreal Engine 4 which was working just fine. However, I am trying to create a Console App(.NET framework) project but the only options I am seeing are related to C++ even though the .NET package has C# in it.

What I did so far:

1. Installed the .NET Desktop Development package.
2. Restart the pc after installing the package.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
