How can I search by emoji with text from MySQL table which is in utf8mb4

Question

I have a table which I store names of products where one of the names is ?? bag which is stored in the table as u267BuFE0F bag in the table. The table is in utf8mb4 with collation utf8mb4_unicode_ci

I am trying to write a search query but unable to get results if I encode and search when the search string has an emoji.

Example Value as is in the table

u267BuFE0F bag

Getting results when I search without the emoji values

SELECT * from bags WHERE name COLLATE UTF8mb4_UNICODE_CI LIKE '%b%'

No results when I search like

SELECT * from bags WHERE name COLLATE UTF8mb4_UNICODE_CI LIKE '%u267BuFE0F%'

I also tried without using the COLLATE in the query like below, still got empty results.

SELECT * from bags WHERE name  LIKE '%u267BuFE0F%'

ALSO I am using php to write the query, incase if it is required for this question.

Am I missing something or trying it incorrectly.
