r - rmagic : plot has no labels (unicode error rmagic Jupyter)

Question

I'm trying to use R magic command to plot a histogram within my Jupyter lab

1. If I use any magic command for Python, it plots fine
2. Now I used tried to plot a hist using the following code:

%R hist(Temperature,main="Maximum daily temperature at La Guardia Airport",xlab="Temperature in degrees Fahrenheit",xlim=c(50,100),col="darkmagenta",freq=FALSE)

The output histogram has no lables and I see non decoded characters instead - for example: instead of "50" on the xlim i see a non decoded "00 35" ..
