Right now I have an Android Studio project that is writing files to both my C:Projects
folder in Windows 10 and my user profile folder. Is that something that Android Studio has to do? Did I screw up some environment variables or is there a way to get Android Studio to just write to C:Projects
.
It is my understanding at this point that Android Studio and gradle uses various directories in your user profile directory for storing downloaded files, so would the answer be, that's just the way Android Studio works? Nothing can be done about it?
I am being directed to move my .gradle/
directory from C:users<my-userid>.gradle
to C:Projects
.
Could that somehow break Android Studio or affect the integrity of the build process in some kind of way?
