Recently Google released their Android Auto SDK which enables third-party developers to build navigation application, but instead of giving developers an option to add their existing map into navigation app, they gave a surface to draw a map on it, which adds lots of handling and overhead, none of existing maps SDK provider(Google Maps, Mapbox, Here Maps) gives any clue or a sample which enables their third-party developers to integrate maps in Android Auto navigation Application.
I am putting this here and tagging them so that they can look into and provide a solution to us.
