Is there any HTML5/Javascript etc means to get a web site (not app) visitor's mobile number, with their permission?
Basically, I want to build a website whereby a user (Android or iPhone), after giving permission and taking clear action to give permission, can have their number sent back to the server (in a header, in a form field etc).
Similar questions have been asked before, but they are old, and, a lot seem to be suggesting this be done opaquely without permission.
