mailgun verified domains and 300 email/day limit

Question

I've seen a couple mentions of this in mailgun's documentation (e.g. here) but am a little unclear on what exactly it means:

Verified domains are not subject to a sending limit of 300 emails per day.

The project that I'm working on will use our company's domain (which we can verify) for most emails but we will occasionally be sending emails using a from address from an end-user's domain. Is this 300 email/day limit applied to each unique from domain we send? Or is this documentation saying that once we've verified our domain, that this limit is no longer in-effect?
