server - Newbie proxy guy here, having some trouble with squid

Question

I have a couple questions about squid proxy configuration, I've scoured the web for answers but still a little lost...

Main IP: 85.21.325.2

log: root

pass:5Djdia8skdaks9JD

range: 85.21.355.0/24

For examples sake lets make these our server details. I have successfully signed into the server, edited the configuration file to enable connections from the IP 85.21.325.2/32. I have also setup a username and password through httpd-tools.

What would my next step be?

Would my IP's be finished? e.g. an IP would be 85.21.355.12:3128:root:squid

*squid is the password I have configured through httpd-toold

For username I am a little unsure also... is it just server username?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very new to this so I apologise! Thank you in advance :)
