ios - Xcode 12.3 issue with Cocoa Pods

if you try to install Cocoa pods while you have Xcode 12.3 you will probably get the error below:

ERROR:  Error installing cocoapods:
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

To fix this you need to:

• make sure you have Command Line Tools for Xcode 12.3
• to install Cocoa Pods on your MacOS use the following:

    sudo gem install -n /usr/local/bin cocoapods -v 1.8.4

Latest CocoaPods 1.10.0 won't work.

In order to update to latest version you need to use brew commands

then enter the command below:

brew install cocoapods
