This is actually about DRM. We are developing Apple applications that is protected using VMProtect. However VMProtect does not support the newest Apple M1 ARM CPU (they are actually not planning to do so). And after some search, it seems there are no DRM software that works on M1. So if we plan to support M1, we have to release a completely unprotected version that is vulnerable to cracking.
As a result, we want to know if Apple Rosetta2 could pre-translate x86 code to ARM, so that if the translated ARM version of software is cracked, it only works on M1 and won't affect the x86 part of market.
