android - How can I copy a folder and subfolders to an apk using aapt?

I've found answers here to how to add files to an apk but I need to add a folder and all it's contents to an apk.

I'm using

./aapt add -v myapk.apk lib/aarch64/*

This adds all the files inside lib/aarch64 but if a folder is inside when jarsigning it errors out.

Does anyone know how can I add an entire folder to a folder inside an apk?

I want to end up with lib/aarch64/myfolder
