amazon web services - Changing IMDS version for batch jobs

Question

Our batch jobs are launching EC2 instances with IMDSv1. According to AWS docs, IMDSv2 is the recommended version. However, I cannot find a way to restrict batch to use the latest IMDS version. We are using the AWSBatchServiceRole for our Compute Environments and the environments are managed. Is there a setting to change the IMDS version for Batch?
