sql server - .Net Core Worker Service as a windows service does not work sometimes

Question

I created a worker service within a .Net Core API and running this API on a windows server. I'm hosting this worker service as a windows service in that windows server. This works most of the time, but sometimes, the windows service seems to be running but no code written within worker service is executed. What could be the cause and how to fix it?

Code in Worker Service looks at records in a database table and performs some operations.
