I'm making a program in Unity that runs on android devices and creates a file that should be accessible by the user from outside the program.
I'm using persistentDataPath, and the path to the file returns /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.Test.TestApp/files/file.txt. The file can be parsed from within the program, so it exists (even after I restart the program). Write permission is set to External (SDCard) in Unity. I'm checking the console (with development mode enabled) and there's no error message.
But I can't see the file created either from the phone or from windows (using a usb cable). In fact, I can't see the entire com.Test.TestApp folder, but I've tried to create it (and the files subfolder) manually.
I've also tried restarting the phone, and manually refreshing the file system, but the files are still not visible.
What is the problem here?
