python - Setting the axes for a polar plot

Question

I want to plot many circles with different radius in a same plot.

The vector r that defines the values of the radius is:

[  1.00000000e-03   2.66987485e-02   9.99364934e-02   2.04070662e-01
   3.23949225e-01   4.50399555e-01   5.80583301e-01   7.16141066e-01
   8.61421435e-01   1.02245516e+00   1.20652269e+00   1.42195793e+00

   3.18225661e+00   3.58893046e+00   3.88844787e+00   4.00000000e+00]

To plot I'm doing:

figure, ax = plt.subplots()
ax.set_aspect(1)
for i in range(len(r)):
    ax.add_artist(plt.Circle((1, 1),r[i],fill=False)
   
plt.show()

How can I adjust the axes in order to see all circles?
