machine learning - Predictors in linear regression

Question

I was asked by my tutor that if predictors in linear regression assumed uncorrelated. I believe the answer is false. Because predictors in linear regression are correlated. But I'm not sure. I searched the internet but couldn't find something. If anyone can suggest me a resource to look up, I'd be grateful.
