asp.net core - customized UI template for every subdomain

Question

we have a website with multiple logical subdomains where they all point to the same domain and website and database.

what we want to achieve is to have multiple design templates for the clients to choose from for their subdomain and what we are thinking is creating multiple layout.cshtml files each with their css files and we save the layout name for each subdomain in the database and load it in runtime.

any better way to achieve this?
