server - visual studio code command on a compute node of a cluster

Question

When I connect to my HPC via ssh the visual studio command code works fine in the login node, however if I start an interactive session on a compute node of my HPC the code command does not work anymore, and I have the message Command is only available in WSL or inside a Visual Studio Code terminal..

I saw that vs-code is not in my path on the compute-node and I added the path

.vscode-server/bin/<hash-code>/bin/code

But I still get the same error.
