components - Problem with editContext.IsModified() in blazor

Question

Step 1.

Open the form.

InpuText's default value = "AAA"

editContext.IsModified = false;

Step 2.

Change the value from "AAA" to "BBB"

editContext.IsModified = true;

Step 3.

Change the value back from "BBB" to "AAA"

editContext.IsModified = true; //But I expect this to be false because "AAA" == "AAA"

Is this how IsModified should behave?

If so, how do I check if the editContext is "unchanged"? //Would deep cloning another instance and then check the clone against the original for all values be necessary?
