solar - Goodwe GW8K-DT PV inverter

Question

I recently installed a Goodwe GW8K-DT inverter. it comes with a USB- WIFI dongle. the published webpage is only used for the wifi configuration. On Github are several projects for other Goodwe inverters suggesting that the inverter is listening on UDP8899. A portscan shows no open ports other than tcp80. does anyone has experience whith this type of inverter and probably a solution to read out the inverter data?
