python 3.x - Is it possible to extract command/API output response from vcr.py (https://vcrpy.readthedocs.io) cassette

I am using vcr.py (https://vcrpy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) to test my application that is a command line tool. This tool makes HTTP calls and returns a JSON output on terminal. I record this interaction and generate a cassette for testing purpose.

I want to document the JSON output without actually running the command. So, is it possible to extract the output of the command from the generated vcr cassette? This way I can use the cassette to test and document generation simultaneously.
