parsing - How to parse the response efficiently using Spring WebFlux

Question

I'm using Spring WebClient to invoke rest API which returns response in chunks.

On the client side, each chunk response goes to custom parsing logic. Now the problem is since parsing taking some time , other emissions from server getting delayed. With this overall performance of reading response is impacted.

Is there any way to parse the response chunks without delaying the other chunk emissions?

Is it correct that response parsing goes on same thread where next emission to be appear?
