Two days ago I finally managed to compile my python program into an .exe.
It turned out, that I needed to update the python version and install pyinstaller once more.
Everything worked fine, I ran the program and it actually worked!
But, when I tried to move it to my USB-Disc, Avast warning popped up, saying that the file is infected with Win64:Trojan-gen.
It happened with every file I compiled, however when I move the .py files from folder to folder, they don't get detected as corrupted.
I installed the Malwarebytes antivirus, and when scanned the computer, deleted all the files that it found.
But, whenever I try again to compile my programs, the exact same thing happens, except that Malvarebytes does not detect any 'bad' files.
I reinstalled python and pyinstaller, but it didn't change anything.
When running in the safe mode, I did not notice any suspicious processes.
So, what is the problem? What should I do? I really would not like to format my laptop. Is it possible that the virus isn't or something?
Please Help me I would really appreciate all the help.
EDIT:
Already got the answer, thanks a lot! ;)
It appears to be a false positive (comments).
EDIT#2:
Well, it appears that it is not a false positive.
About 20 minutes after putting one of the .exe files into the recycling bin, avast quarantined a file from the bin, which was said to be infected with the virus.
The file appeared from 'nowhere', probably from the .exe file, because I dod not empty the bin.
Help again.
